Denorval Donald Tate,63 (11/30/1945-11/06/2009). Don passed away peacefully at his home in Boston, MA. Born Nov. 30, 1945, in Portland, OR, he was the second son born to Walter and Jessie Tate. Don graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. He received his bachelor's degree from University of Oregon and a master's degree from Portland State University. He passed his CPA exam on his first attempt and moved to Boston, MA where he embarked on a successful career in finance. Survivors include his mother, Jessie Tate; siblings, Thomas, Barbara "Nia" and Tammy; a host of nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends. A memorial services were held at 11:00am on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at Hotel Monaco, 506 S.W Washington Street in Portland, OR.
