Gresham resident Duane Alan Huntley, 61, died of brain cancer Wednesday, Feb. 28, in Gresham.

Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Lincoln Memorial Park, 11801 S.E. Mount Scott Blvd., Portland. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Gateway Baptist Church, 13300 N.E. San Rafael St., Portland.

Duane was born July 4, 1945, in McMinnville to Al and Winnie (Bartruff) Huntley. In 1957, he moved to San Jose, Calif., and in 1962, to Portland, where he graduated from Jefferson High School in 1963. He continued his education at Multnomah Community College, where he earned an associate's degree.

He served in the Air National Guard from June 1966 to June 1990.

On June 17, 1967, Duane married Donna Williams in Beaverton. In 1973, they moved to Portland where he was an inventory specialist at the John Deere warehouse. He moved to Gresham in 2001 and retired in 2005.

Duane was a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Portland. He enjoyed collecting model cars and John Deere tractors.

Duane was preceded in death by his brother, Stan Huntley.

Survivors include his wife of Gresham; daughter, Diane Hadley of Gresham; sons, Doug Huntley of Banks and Don Huntley of Beaverton; brothers, Gerry Huntley and Rodger Huntley, both of Milwaukie; sister, Mary Jo Beeghly of Salem; and four grandchildren.
